Celebrating the centre's announcement that veteran Telugu actor Kota Srinivasa Rao is conferred Padma Sri Award, the team of "S/o Satya Murthy" for whom Kota is working at the moment has surprsied the senior actor. They have felicitated him today by making him cut a cake and wrapping a shawl around him.

S/o Satya Murthy teams includes Bunny, Trivikram, Rajendra Prasad, Sneha and Upendra at the location who have joined hands to felicitate Kota Srinivasa Rao. Much before starting their shoot on the day, the unit members have spread their wishes for the talented actor who is entertaining Telugu audiences from 30+ years.

"This award came to me as a surprise as i've never expected it. I feel honoured as it happens to be recognition of my work", said Kota Srinivasa Rao, reacting on being conferred Padma Sri. Apart from this Padma award, Kota has also won prestigious AP government's Nandi Award for six times.
