Is Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao turning a film lyricist? Director and producer Allani Sreedhar says that indeed the Chief Minister will write lyrics for his upcoming movie “Bonala Potharaju”. Written and enacted by People’s star R Narayanana Murthy, this film is going to be on Potharaju, an important person in Telangana culture.

“As we are making a film on telangana culture, we requested CM KCR to write lyrics for a song. As he happens to be a poet, he agreed for that immediately”, said Allani Sridhar. The makers are planning the film’s release before the Bonalu festival starts in July. Sana Yadireddy is the producer of this film. Regular shooting will start from April 15th.
